To help us come back to you quickly and usefully, it helps to mention your travel dates or the window you are working with, which kind of tour interests you most, birdwatching, herping, a general day tour or multi-day, where you will be staying or starting from, your group size and any particular species or wildlife you are most hoping to see.
There are no silly questions. If you are not sure what kind of tour fits your trip, just say so and we will help you figure it out.
We arrange private transfers to Sinharaja from anywhere in Sri Lanka, such as Galle, Matara, Mirissa, Weligama, Bentota, Hikkaduwa, and Colombo. Tours are timed so you arrive at the forest during peak wildlife hours. Let us know your location when you get in touch.
Getting close to the forest the night before a tour makes a real difference, especially if you want an early start. Nature Trails Lodge is our guesthouse in Deniyaya, in a naturally scenic wildlife-rich setting a short distance from Sinharaja’s main entrances. Staying here means you can begin at true dawn when the forest is at its best.
